Texas hunters and outdoor enthusiasts who carry a Colt 1911 or revolver as a field sidearm during whitetail deer, exotic game, or dove season on the managed ranches and hunting properties surrounding Llano and the Llano River corridor should consult the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for any season-specific regulations regarding sidearm carry during hunting.
